On July 26 we closed on our new house. As I type this it is hard to believe it was only 8 days ago. Below is a picture of us signing away.
After a busy week end we had most of it put together. Bottom line is we are now home.
We are not completely done. I expect we will spend the next several weeks unpacking the last few boxes and getting things set but thi sis now our home and we are glad to be here.
The real work started the next day. The movers came and moved most of our stuff. Due to schedule problem we decided to move most of our stuff Tuesday. However this did not include our bed so for several days we lived in two houses. In the evening we would go to the new house to eat and then work to transform a house into a home.
Then on Friday the movers came back to move the rest of the stuff. Here is a picture what shows why it is better to hire someone. Like any job, it is easier to do is you have the right tools.
