While I had a wonderful Christmas, one of the best gifts actually arrived the day after.  Elizabeth’s daughter, her husband and most important their daughter, Elizabeth’s granddaughter arrived for a visit.  While modern technology can sometimes complicate our lives it can also be a great benefit.  Cell phones allowed us to stay in touch with them as they traveled the nearly 500 mile.  We were able to track their progress using one of the internet map tools.  The final couple of miles we were able to provide turn by turn directions again by cell phone.  They arrived midafternoon and we had a wonderful visit.  I will have to say, Elizabeth’s granddaughter is a little bundle of energy.
