The first year Elizabeth and I were together we bought an artificial tree for Christmas. I must admit it has seen better Christmas's (this year is year 12) and probably needs to be replaced but not this year. It is OUR tree and it is special to me. Each year I drag it out and build it. It starts with a bare pole
The we add each row of limbs. They are color coded so they do not get mixed. The nice thing about doing it this way is you can add the lights as you go.
The base section is nearly complete.
Add the top and a few beaded garland.
Then add the Christmas ornaments and you get a completed tree.
Put some gifts under it and it is ready for Christmas.

Hi Dave,
Your tree looks wonderful. We have a real tree this year, since my son was working at one of those tree selling places.
I like both the artifical and real, but the artifical is much easier!!
